字源： Limerick是在Ireland的一個大城市，而其中有中說法是，Limerick人喜歡玩一種宴會遊戲--每位來賓輪流即興造出一首荒謬、打趣的詩，而其中都要用到「Will you come up to Limerick?」，因此後來limerick就成了五行打油詩的代名詞了。
