字源：from the Latin word chorus ，在更早的時候希臘也就有這個字了，那是指一群舞者與歌手。在現在我們仍然可以用 chorus來指一群舞者與歌手，但是 choir只有指一群歌手而已，且通常是用於教堂，像是有什麼典禮時的合唱。
