ps. flint是打火石(在p.205有談過這個字唷),用flint可以生出火花,早起的人沒有打火機,就可以用撞擊flint來生火的。skinflint是指一個人很不想花錢買個新的flint,而一直磨(skin)舊的flint石。所以而後就是指很吝嗇的人,連幾毛錢都不願多花。
