ap-prehend(抓住)

v.逮捕 arrest

The police are anxious to apprehend a middle-aged man believed to be armed with a gun.
警察急於逮捕一名確信攜有槍枝的中年人。

 

v.對...擔慮[+that] anticipate with anxiety

你是不是怕有什麼困難?

v.理解,領會[+that] to grasp the meaning of; understand, esp. intuitively

最早的意思是：每年從地產中扣除的稅金。

字根解同上，taking back。

在音樂上解釋則是後來的發展。
