ex. a potpourri of the best songs.

ps.medley為好幾首歌串連一起唱,比方說第一首歌唱完後,接著第二首歌,中間有時候會有overlapping。這在pop music中滿常見的,而以歌曲的形式比較多,純樂器的形式比較少。

 

聯想:pot+pour ri (傾注)

字源:pot為鍋子,pourri 是"grow rotten(腐爛)"的意思,pot+pourri後來的意思變成stew(燉肉)
